• Short news: Injuries, returns, confirmations, cuts

The Cardinals also put two defenders on IR: linebacker Kyzir White and defensive lineman Leki Fotu – the former had a torn bicep, the latter had an injured hand. White is the bigger loss, because surprisingly, the defender from the Eagles performed at least at Pro Bowler level this year. Fotu is a big player in the middle of the wall, but he didn't add much value during his four years with the team.

Commanders linebacker Cody Barton is back from the injured list and will play against the Cowboys on Thursday. He played in the first seven games of the season and did not perform badly, so he is definitely a reinforcement in place of David Mayo.

The Rams' second-year running back, Kyren Williams, will also return from the injured list, and because of this, the team cut Darrell Henderson, who was cleared a few weeks ago due to the young RB's injury. Williams has done quite well this year despite his small stature, producing 561 scrimmage yards and 7 TDs in 6 games.

The Steelers are looking to strengthen their linebacker line. After the confirmation of Myles Jack, they have now acquired the Pokémon king Blake Martinez from the Panthers practice squad. With the loss of Cole Holcomb and Kwon Alexander, the team is not doing well at the position, so they have to try.

The Browns have placed veteran safety Rodney McLeod on IR with a torn bicep. He was considered the No. 3 safety behind Grant Delpit and Juan Thornhill, but was useful in a rotational role.
