Joe Flacco returns to AFC North, Browns confirm!

Joe Flacco is back in the AFC North! According to ESPN's information, after Friday's trial game, the Browns will officially sign the now 38-year-old quarterback today - for the time being on the practice squad, but by definition they will be able to bring him up from there at any time, and according to expectations, this will happen.

Due to Deshaun Watson's injury, PJ Walker and rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson also started for the Browns this year. The latter played against the Steelers on Sunday, completing 23 of 43 passes for 165 yards and an INT, but led the offense to a game-winning field goal at the end. He wasn't particularly bad, but he had an interception and a dropped interception, and almost all of his passes were within 5 yards, so very little was asked of him.

The team has an elite defense, and the running back will only be asked not to mess things up, they will try to move with the running game and easy quick passes - however, as we saw against the Steelers, if they can't open the field, then the defense can also play these short games. The question is, what else is in Flacco at the moment, but maybe opponents can fear his arm more, and maybe he can solve the short games as well - on the other hand, he won't be as dangerous with swings as DTR or Walker were.

It has not yet been revealed whether the former first-rounder and then Super Bowl MVP is intended to be a starter or just a backup.

By the way, the Browns will play next week against the Broncos, who have won four games in a row.
