Hello there, dear little brother,
Here are similar events, a lot of the falling leaves
I am a little sad .. Spring is too far away...

Thank you for the cute little ghosts :)

These candles are made of autumn leaves
It also can be really witty and creative. :)

I recommend to your kind attention these beautiful creations.

What you will need:
Mod podgeSponge brushesTea lightsClear jars of any sizeRaffia or ribbonFake and/or real leaves

Step oneMake sure that your fake leaves are bendable and soft. If they are too stiff it will be very difficult to get them to stay on the jars. If there are large plastic stems on the back of the leaves, simply tear them off, it should not rip the fabric. If you are using real leaves, put some water on them so that they become more flexible and easy to work with. I decided to iron all the fake leaves I was using as it makes them flat and easier to stick to the jars.

Step twoMake sure your jars are clean by wiping them off with rubbing alcohol. If the jars are dirty, the leaves will not stick.
Step threeUsing your sponge brush, spread a generous amount of mod podge onto an area of the jar. Allow the mod podge to get a little sticky, and then place your first leaf. Smooth out the leaf with your fingers, starting in the center and working your way to the edges. Do not worry if the leaf does not seem to be sticking, it may take some time.

Step fourPlace another generous amount of mod podge over the leaf you just placed, and again, use your fingers to smooth the leaf. Do not worry about how much mod podge you are using, it will dry clear. You may need to do this a few times, but as the mod podge dries, the leaf should stick. Also, you may notice as you are placing the leaves that the edges are not adhering completely to the jar. Do not stress about getting the edges to stick down completely. Remember, leaves are all shaped differently naturally, and it actually makes it look more real once the jar is dry, and you will hardly notice them, I promise!
Step fiveContinue to repeat step four until you have the jar covered, and your desired look. Overlap the leaves, but remember, the more you overlap them, the less the light from the candle itself will shine through. I did not worry about covering all the space between the leaves, so that more light would get out.

Step sixOnce your jar is covered, get some mod podge on your sponge brush and lightly paint over the areas of the jar that are bare. This will create a textured look when it dries.

Step sevenOnce your jar is complete let it dry for a few hours. You may want to use a finishing spray, but it is not necessary if you do not have any readily available. Next you will want to tie a bow around the top using the raffia or ribbon that you bought. Do not worry if the bow is not perfect, let it be a little messy as it gives it a more creative, unique look.

Now all you have to do is put in your tea lights, and sit back and enjoy the wonderful autumn colors that these lights will provide. If you want, get some scented candles to create even more of a fall feel.

While this project can take quite a bit of time, and can be frustrating, the results are beautiful! If you have never used mod podge before I suggest reading some tips on working with the substance before you start, as it can be a bit tricky. I Hope you enjoyed this fall DIY project, and stay tuned for more!
